Building Alliances

At Lapchick & Co, much of our work is preparing nonprofit and for-profit clients to meet the collaboration challenge.

This includes a thorough review of your strategic goals and readiness for developing alliances.

It involves assessing your organization’s current relationships with businesses and nonprofits, determining the benefits your organization should seek in an alliance, exploring opportunities, researching and evaluating the strategic fit of each potential partner, and identifying additional organizations with whom your organization might create alliances.

In preparing to pitch prospective partners, our work includes the development of a preliminary marketing approach, identifying specific purpose and fit, and designing a management plan for each alliance. Lapchick’s 360˚view allows us to understand all systems involved, how they connect with one another, and to identify the leverage points among them.

Determining a company’s cause, finding, assessing, and negotiating with appropriate partners, and branding to maximize your exposure takes a concerted effort and an understanding of the particular issues facing both sectors.
